More about Me -
I am an AADP Board Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach specializing in hormone health. I cater to the Orthodox Jewish community, because everything that I recommend is kosher certified, whether it be food or supplements and I understand the cultural sensitivities around that community, which I am a part of. However, I do work with all types of clients, male or female. If you are suffering from lack of sleep, inability to lose weight/sluggish metabolism, low energy, fertility issues, menopause, thyroid and/or adrenal dysfunction, or you are not sure exactly what is going on in your body, I can help you figure it out. I work alongside functional medicine providers and other health professionals, as needed. I can be your coach to help you work through the difficult transitions that come along with trying to implement lifestyle changes for yourself or your family.
My vision is to produce thriving and healthy families through helping stressed out working moms, because you moms are the glue that holds it all together for your family and I want you to feel loved, supported and empowered, every step of the way!

How one Member has grown his business with his Chamber Membership:
|
"I have been a proud member of the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce since 2015. Immediately after joining not only was I welcomed into a loving family of professionals headed by Gordon Haas and Yasmin Fisher, my Alarm company, New World Solutions, also benefited with the acquisition of new customers and great network connections in Elizabeth and neighboring towns.
I wholeheartedly recommend the GECC to anyone that is considering joining. It is the best kept secret in Union County and the gift that keeps on giving.
Each month the GECC works tremendously hard to put on networking events that fosters an environment of connections. You get to make friends and increase your business too! I have had at least one more new customer added each year since I have been a member just by going to the events.
Of course, like they say 'you've got to be in it to win it!"
You and your business can be a winner too! Join the GECC today and increase your business, while meeting great people. If you still have any questions or are unsure, please feel free to contact me on: 973.900.3442.
Thanks to the GECC, for the many referrals I have received over the years from being a member!

|
Friday, August 17, 2018 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Holiday Inn, Clark 36 Valley Road Clark, NJ 07066
Mayor Chris Bollwage is now in his twenty-sixth year as Mayor of Elizabeth, a diverse city of more than 125,000. Mayor Bollwage, a native of the city, was elected to his first term in 1992.
During his presentation to us the Mayor will speak about developments in Elizabeth, the port, and the airport.
A full recap of all of the Mayor's accomplishments would take over three pages in his biography, but you should know that the Mayor is currently an adjunct professor in the Public Administration Department at Kean University, where he teaches undergraduate courses in Public Administration. Also a graduate of Kean, Mayor Bollwage holds a graduate degree with honors in Public Administration, has received the Distinguished Alumnus Award, and was later inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha honor society.
The Mayor has served as president of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities.
Before becoming Mayor, Chris Bollwage was a Councilman for 10 years, serving as Council President in 1989. He was also a member of the Elizabeth Planning Board for four years. Prior to holding elected office, the Mayor served as sales, marketing and public relations representative for A&J Trading Corporation and Traffic Coordinator for Kerr Steamship Incorporated.

The power of Generosity is doing big things for NJ Nonprofits!
|
SAVE THE DATE:
SATURDAY JUNE 8, 2019 6th ANNUAL MULTI-CHARITY 5K WALK/RUN
The Generosity Series will be back in
Oak Ridge Park on
June 8, 2019 for another very powerful fundraising opportunity for your organization.
Generosity NJ's 5th annual multi-charity 5K walk/run just last month saw
8 nonprofit organizations raise over $120,000, achieving an unheard of $715.52 average raise per participant! This number is more than 20 times the national 5K average!
Participating charities: The Gateway Family YMCA, Second Street Youth Foundation, Essex County Family Justice Center, Restore Ministries, Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey, Esophageal Cancer Action Network, The Theater Project, and Homefirst.
Generosity handles the traditional planning for this event, leaving the charities end to focus solely on recruiting fundraising participants (for which we provide directional support).
Generosity has raised over 7.4 million for our charity partners, and we do not take a penny of your fundraising or registration dollars.
"Generosity's event saw a greater ROI than any other event we have ever put on. We raised more than our own GALA, and it was easy to do." - Robert McGuire, Executive Director, Cerebral Palsy Nassau County, NY
You too can get into Generosity NJ 2019! Don't miss the early bird discount which expires September 28, 2018. Please reference
GE2019 for the early bird discount. For details contact Amanda Gerrity at
amanda@generosityseries.com.
2019 will be another great fundraising event. Join us!

Did you miss out on 4th Annual Hot Dog Day?
|
The EAP Celebrated its 4th Annual Hot Dog Day on Wednesday, July 18th on Second Avenue between Elizabeth Avenue and South Street. More than 2000 "dollar dogs" were sold on site and everyone had a great time. We received some great press on the event as seen below. News-12 NJ featured it as their "Viewer of the Day" Segment while Tap Into Elizabeth and the Union County Local Source did nice features on the event. Latin Newspapers, La Voz and Vista Hispano also covered the event.
We plan on expanding this event even more next year, so if you are a business on Elizabeth Avenue and would like to provide giveaways to promote your business or set up a booth, please email Dave Strochak directly or call the EAP office at 908-965-0660 ext. 13.
Many thanks go out to the City of Elizabeth and Mayor Chris Bollwage, the Department of Recreation and the Department of Public Works for their continued support of this and other EAP events! Click the links below to read more about the day.
