Littles and Lattes
August 9, 2017
DSAG is excited to offer a program for our preschool age group. Littles and Lattes is designed to be a playgroup type setting for children with Ds (ages birth to 6 years) and their parents. Feel free to bring your own latte or enjoy the provided coffee. Thank you to First Baptist Concord's Helping Hands Ministry for providing the space for us to meet.

No RSVP is necessary.

Dads, grandads, or anyone who is a father figure in the life of an individual with Ds are invited to be part of the group.

Hoops for Hope 2017
Saturday, August 26 
9:30 am-12 pm
Location- Knoxville Christian School

Individuals with Down syndrome aged 10 and above are invited to participate in this fun day of basketball with the UT Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. 
Individuals of ALL ages are needed to cheer them on.

This event is open to the public – invite everyone you know!
Buddy Walk Program Ad Sales end soon!

Only a few days left to place an ad!!!
Placing an ad in the Buddy Walk program will put your business name in the hands of over 500 people. Ad sales also count toward your fundraising goal.

Special Needs Night at Max Air Trampoline Park

On the first Tuesday of each month our center court trampoline is closed to the public and open specifically for our flyers with special needs. Tickets are $9 per jumper (per hour). Lights are dimmed and music is turned down.

STEP training available

With school going back, it is a good time to learn more about your child's education. STEP's mission is to empower parents through information, training and support to become effective partners with professionals in planning appropriate educational programs for their children.

Workshops that help to increase families’ knowledge base is a major focus of STEP. Why?  Information is empowering. Our workshops will help you feel more confident and positive as you participate as part of the team making educational decisions for your child. We offer a wide range of training topics.



The 8th Annual East Tennessee Access-Life Expo


Saturday, August 19th 

Cherokee Dam Park in Jefferson City from 10am-2pm 

 

This event is for individuals and families living with disabilities. Volunteers are also still needed to help serve in the various activity areas, as well as to be “buddies” for the participants who attend.

 

The day’s activities will include boat rides, bank fishing, kayaking, archery, arts & crafts, games, animals, resource exhibitors, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, snacks, lunch and more and as always it is completely FREE.
