Defining moment in your career: Landed Hayden's first really BIG job (What is now Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center) Linda Thorup and I broke out the bottle of champagne! That was 30 years ago!
Something about you that would surprise people: I used to do a lot of backpacking and hiking on the Appalachian Trail and in Pisgah Forest, as well as white water rafting.
Your strengths: Able to see big picture and then bring it into visible form.
What does IIDA mean to you? It's a great community of support and connection.
Personal/ signature style: Always been drawn to Oriental elements, but it really comes down to what best serves the client and their environment.
What you do for fun: I am a big big family person! Love spending time with family, especially my great husband , our two super adorable little twin grandsons, and of course sons Chris&wife,Sarah and Chad& wife, Jen. Love spending time at Hilton Head, when we get the chance.
Trends you currently see: More open, collaborative environments that allow people to move more throughout the day.

Dream client: I have been so fortunate to have a few of these over the years- They are kind, understanding, decisive, engaging and smart enough to know when to step back and let you do your thing.
What inspires you? Color & textures& more color- it speaks to me in a language of its own.
Ideal time and place to work: After 5 pm in my office with soft music going and no phones.
Favorite trip: Spent a week at a destination spa, Mii Amo, in Sedona, Arizona (Trip of my dreams! Heaven on Earth) New person when I left!
