Caribbean Flavors: Light Summer Fare
For this event, local author Brigid Washington returns to her Caribbean roots to show us how to prepare Shrimp Lettuce Wraps and Tall, Dark & Stormy Cocktails.
$15, includes shrimp wrap and one beverage. RSVP REQUIRED

Brigid was raised in Trinidad and Tobago with the food and spirit of the West Indian table. She is also a graduate of NC State University.
Brigid will stay after the event to sign copies of her new cookbook
"Coconut. Ginger. Shrimp. Rum. Caribbean Flavors for Every Season." Books will be available for purchase at The Garden Hut.
Brigid was editor-in-chief of the Culinary Institute of America monthly publication Mise en Place, for whom she continues to write on a project basis. Her first language is modern American food, focusing on vegetables prepared in new and innovative ways. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
