Well what's new? To begin with while the rest of the country is sweltering in record highs, San Diego has been enjoying some unusually cool weather. As of this writing it is a beautiful Wednesday morning with a crisp breeze and a temperature in the mid 60s. Can't get any better than that, can it?

 Little Xander, our grandson shop baby has made several appearances since being born. He's fattening up quite nicely, about 11 lbs now, and he's starting to notice his surroundings with greater intensity. Lovely little boy, we're quite happy to have him around.
The other little one, Mdme George is becoming quite the good young lady. She now hangs out at the front door as our official greeter. What's great about it is she won't venture beyond the threshold (except when Pancake her boyfriend or Cooper the neighbor's dog strolls by). She loves everybody, so expect a big dose of George love the next time you drop by.
