Chattanooga Zoo's
Library Pass Program

Chattanooga Zoo has generously provided an annual membership card for the Library for July 2017-July 2018 that can be borrowed (checked out @ circulation desk) and used for zoo admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children per visit.
The card may be checked out once per family per year for 7 days. If the card is lost, a $30 lost fee will be charged. If the card is returned late, a $4 per day fee will be charged.
This new partnership furthers the zoo's commitment to education and their mission to engage and inspire the community.

I Spy Quilt
Library Fundraiser

Judy Weland has created and donated a second beautiful children's quilt to be used as a fundraiser for the Library. Sales of tickets for last summer's "ABC With Me" Quilt raised the money for the purchase of our Little Free Library. This year's goal is to raise $500 for the purchase of a Mobile Cart for the 3D Printer.

Judy writes about her "I Spy With My Little Eye..." Quilt:
This "I Spy" quilt was made to test a child's powers of observation and to provide lots of fun and learning. Among the many categories of items found on the quilt, it can be used to teach colors, animals, foods and holiday symbols, school items, modes of transportation, cartoon characters and sports gear.
101 fabrics were cut into 465 pieces and sewn together to make this quilt. The fabrics are cotton and can be washed in warm water and dried in the dryer.
Made with Love by Judy Weland in Ooltewah, Tennessee.   Summer 2017
