SNEAK PEEK FOR FALL
WHAT'S ON OUR NEEDLES

Our fascination with Cestari Traditional Wool 2-ply all started after the Hyak Socks from the Camp Tolt Collection was released, a throwback to the old Rag Boot Socks. Following the most enjoyable phone conversation with Francis Chester, the sage behind Cestari, Cestari Wools will now be a staple on our shelves.
Look at what we will be knitting!

Climb Every Mountain by Heidi Kirrmaier
knit in Quince & Co Chickadee is the perfect tee to take you right into the fall.

Marshmallow Mitts from tincanknits are quick, garter stitch fingerless mitts, sized baby to adult large. We knit ours in Debbie Bliss Blue Faced Leceister Aran. We're calling them Marshmallow and Mini Marshmallows.

The Chevron Pop by Hilary Carr used (2) skeins of Classic Elite Chalet for MC, (1) skein of Classic Elite in CC color and approximately 35 yards in Nice and Knit DK for the POP! There are plenty of color choices in both Classic Elite Chalet and Debbie Bliss Paloma for some easy holiday projects.
The clasp is from Jul Designs and can be found online. The first photo shows the finished cowl unblocked for a smaller, more conforming fit.

This is the Pop after it was blocked.

HEATHER'S HELPFUL HINTS

Lighten your load during the dog days of August:

~make a copy of that pattern and stop lugging the whole book around with you
~consider how much knitting you will be doing each time you leave the house. No need to carry all 14 skeins for that project, just throw one or two in your bag for a day of knitting.
