Last month M and M attended the Casual Pre-Market show in Chicago. 

Here are some trends in outdoor furniture that you can look forward to for 2019:

 

Gray and Blue, Gray and Blue, Gray and Blue

This seemed to be the dominating color combo at Market.  The pictures below are from the Homecrest showroom.

 

 

Open Weave

There were several new groups with a more open weave, often using all-weather rope or cording, opposed to the usual all-weather wicker.  This gave the furniture a more open and airy look.  Ratana's Copacabana and Genval groups are pictured below. 

 

 

 

Are patterns making a comeback?

If you ask O.W. Lee they are.  They launched their Pendelton Sunbrella fabric program this year, offering refreshing colorful patterns opposed to the usual sea of gray and beige.

 

M and M are working on putting together Fruehauf's orders for 2019, so look forward to seeing some new patio furniture at the store soon!
