Another Successful Harvest Century Bicycle Tour

Thank you to everyone who helped with the 28th Annual Harvest Century Bicycle Tour.  We heard lots of praise from the riders about the beauty of the ride, the food and especially the friendliness of our volunteers.  This year's 600+ riders enjoyed unseasonably cool temperatures with a foggy morning start and low 80 degree weather. This is a major fund raiser for the Chamber and we could not make it happen without the many local volunteers who so generously share their Saturday with us.

Memorial Bridge Project to Begin

The retrofit of Memorial Bridge begins August 18th. The bridge is anticipated to be closed for approximately 18 months to undergo much need earthquake retrofitting among other repairs. The closure of Memorial Bridge will affect the many businesses that are located on Healdsburg Avenue on both sides of the bridge as well as business located on Front St. The Chamber is working with the City to place directional signage at critical intersections and along Highway 101 to warn drivers of the closure and redirect traffic. We will also be keeping affected businesses updated on the progress of the construction and any unanticipated problems that may occur. If your business is in the construction zone, please feel free to contact Carla Howell at the Chamber with any questions you may have regarding the closure [email protected].

Bicycles and pedestrians will be allowed continued use of Memorial Bridge.

No fee is required for participation although some merchants may opt to donate a portion of their day's sales back to the Museum.
