We will be coming out with our first Fall/Winter Program book this year!  We expect the program book to be mailed out the last week of August.

Along with the Fall/Winter Program Book we will also be launching online registration! The online registration website is still under construction but you can get a head start and create your family account by clicking on the link to the left. Please follow the instructions on the front page for creating your account. Residency must be verified by the office before your account is approved. Please allow for 24 hours or one full business day for this to occur.

YOUTH DANCE CLASSES

Signup begins
Monday, August 8
for Little Chute residents/taxpayers
The Little Chute Park & Rec will be offering another 12-week youth dance program at the Little Chute Civic Center. Classes will be 30 minutes long and will be held on THURSDAY evenings. Classes will be held from Thursday, September 8, through Thursday, December 1 (no classes November 24). Students will participate in the program’s dance revue, which will be held on Sunday, December 4.

Class choices will be Tumbling (age 4 & 5), Pom & Dance (age 6 & up), Jazz (age 6 & up), and Hip/Hop (age 8 & up). Parents must use child’s age as of 8/1/16 when registering for class. Only Little Chute residents/taxpayers can sign-up on a first-come, first-serve basis from Monday, August 8, through Thursday, August 18, at the cost of $35.00 per child. 

Non-resident registrations will be taken starting Monday, August 22, for any class openings that remain; the cost will be $45.00 per child.
YOUTH CARNIVAL

Wednesday, August 10
Legion Park
Come join all the fun at our annual outdoor youth carnival!  Everyone is welcome to attend this event (no signup necessary). 

Our annual carnival will be held at Legion Park from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10 (raindate August 11).  There will giant inflatables, balloon creations, kiddie express ride, and numerous games for the kids to enjoy.

Game tickets only cost 10 cents each.  Kids turn in their prize points from playing the games for various novelties, toys, and gift certificates.  There will also be a food stand selling hotdogs, chips, soda, and ice cream bars.  Enjoy lunch and a day of fun at the park with the kids.  Hope you can join us!
SUNDAY NIGHT FUN RUN

Sunday, August 14
Heesakker Park
The Little Chute Track & Cross Country Teams will be holding a Fun Run on Sunday, August 14 at Heesakker Park.  There will be a run for everyone, from young to old!  There is no sign-up necessary, just show up at Heesakker Park (weather permitting) for some fun while you run.  There will be kids runs for ages 6 & under (run 400 or 800 meters), ages 7 to 9 (run 800 meters), and ages 10 to 14 (run 1600 meters).  All finishers in each age group will receive an award!  There will be a high school to adult run (up to 5K course) which will be tailored to the needs of those that show up. 
DOYLE PARK POOL 
It is hard to believe! The pool is open for 2 more weeks. The pool will close for the season on Sunday, August 21. If you haven't visited the pool yet this summer come on out and see what the Doyle Pool has to offer. 

REVISED HOURS FOR AUGUST 15 - AUGUST 19 
Beginning August 15 their will be no night swim offered at the pool. The pool hours for open swim during this week will be 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm.
TERRACE TREES AVAILABLE
The village has budgeted limited funds for this fall's terrace tree planting program.  Little Chute property owners pay $60 towards the cost of each terrace tree requested, with the remaining balance paid for with budgeted funds.  Forestry Department staff plant the terrace trees starting in October, as specified by village's forestry manual.  Little Chute property owners interested in applying for a terrace tree can obtain an application form by clicking the link below.  Application deadline is August 15.
