The Annual Patterson Library Friends Book Sale is coming soon and we need your help! We need people ages 16 & over to help sort books and work at the sale.If you would like to volunteer for this great fundraising event please call 845-878-6121 ext. 10 or stop by the front desk!

A Day In The Park!
Enjoy a great day at the Patterson Library Park! Pack a lunch and have a picnic, play Checkers or Chutes and Ladders on our life size lawn games, read a book in our shady gazebo, or bring your laptop and use our free Wifi 24/7. While you are here, don't forget to take a peek at our amazing vegetable garden.

Come out to support the Patterson Library's High School Battle of the Books team as they compete to win the first annual High School BOB competition! The competition will be held at Mizzentop Day School in Pawling, New York and will begin at 6 PM. 
Monday, August 22  1-3 PM
Kids who participated in the Summer Reading Game or attended summer programs are welcome to join us for an ice cream party with a performance by Patterson Library's theater kids as they perform a number from High School Musical Junior. Rain date is Tuesday, August 23.

Join us as we present  Joy, featuring Oscar winners Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro, in an emotional and witty film based on the true story of a woman who overcame the unforgiving world of commerce to build her own financial empire.

Join us for a fascinating look into the world of metal detecting. Roger Young, member of the Putnam/Westchester Metal Detectorists & Archeological Society, will share his knowledge and expertise in this fun and interesting presentation. Learn how you can start finding your own treasures with basic information on equipment, where to go, how to avoid hazards, and the many benefits of metal detecting. Plus, see Roger’s amazing collection of items he has found over the years including beautiful jewelry, coins, artifacts and more. *  T he collection will also be on exhibit in the library late June - July.
