Growl at the Moon Fall Fundraiser!
We've never liked the saying, "Let the cat out of the bag," because - really, who puts a cat in a bag in the first place? Still, it's time to make some announcements!
Our fall fundraiser, CatWalk, which we've all come to love, is taking a bit of a cat nap this year. Due to several scheduling conflicts, a few of the salons couldn't participate, leading us to postpone the event for a year. We know many of you will be disappointed, too, but take heart! We're excited to introduce something new!
Growl at the Moon will take the stage Saturday, Oct. 15
th at the lovely Grand Wayne Center in downtown Fort Wayne. What's Growl at the Moon? It's karaoke for a cause! You're invited to join your friends for an evening of ridiculously fun, first class karaoke sung by second class singers! You'll laugh. You'll cry. It will be better than
Cats! (Well, we think nothing's better than
actual cats.)

Growl at the Moon website. Please join us. In fact, get a whole table for your friends. We're still looking for corporate sponsors, too, so if your company would like a corporate table, give me a call at the shelter.
And, if all that fun isn't enticing enough, we have a VERY BIG announcement to make at Growl at the Moon! Want a hint? Little changes are coming that will make a BIG difference! So, please, get your seats for Growl at the Moon right away. Oh, and start practicing your songs in the shower!

Hello, my name is Mary Nell, and I came to the Allen County SPCA on the PetSmart Charities Rescue Waggin' all the way from Clarksdale Animal Rescue Effort & Shelter in Clarksdale, Mississippi. That was one heck of a trek! I am now looking for my forever home in the Midwest. I would probably get along with other dogs and children, but I would need to meet them first to be certain.
