Poetry Workshops
Gemini Ink in San Antonio is offering two fall poetry workshops:
Poet Pablo Miguel Martinez will lead a four-week workshop called: "Poetry-Making: New Ways, New Work." Ideal for poets of all levels, this workshop offers up creative sparks for helping writers find new sources for fresh, compelling work. Each week, participants will dip into a different way for jumpstarting new poems with the guidance of Mr. Martinez. For information and to register, visit
"Poetry-Making: New Ways, New Work." This class starts on Oct. 10.
Gemini Ink Executive Director, Sheila Black, an award-winning poet in her own right, is teaching a one-day intensive poetry workshop on Nov. 11, "
Writers as Readers: Using Reading to Generate New Poems." Designed to provide practical strategies for how our very own reading can lead to unexpected sources for new poems. Open to writers of all levels.
