As you re-read your assessment from week one, we encourage you to begin a plan of action to become more focused on your Authentic Leadership...
1.Identify one or two examples where you felt that someone you were working with displayed behaviour that seemed contrived or inauthentic.
2.Reflect on the above examples. Write down the "red flag" behaviors that signaled the inauthenticity you observed. What did you think of the person and thier message at the time?
3.Think of a past experience that you think you might've acted inauthentically. What aspects of the situation made you act in that way? Fear? Feelings of anxiety? Overconfidence?
4. List your five list your top values. List the major areas of your life (work, family, etc) How do those values show up in each area?
5. Are there areas where your values and your behaviors are misaligned? What changes would be necessary to align your values and actions? What barriers you identified in #3 may get in your way?
