Gather for worship with us on Sunday - Traditional at 9:30am, Informal at 11:00am.

Our scripture lessons are Psalm 78:1-4,12-16 and Matthew 21:23-27 with a sermon entitled Authorized Personnel Only... We are all gifted. We are all experts on our own experience. You are called, equipped, sent. You are authorized and therefore have authority. How do you gain authority, keep it, exercise it - while honoring the authority of others?

Be Kind - wear nametags! Thanks for making a special effort to wear your nametag this autumn. It really helps Laurie, our Seminary Student, to put names and faces together...and it helps build a stronger faith family for all of us. If you need a nametag - new or replacement - please add your name to the clipboard on the nametag cabinet. Thank you!

I was going to look for my missing watch, but I could never find the time.

Every happening, great and small, is a parable whereby God speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message. -Malcolm Muggeridge

The Penny Paradox

It's always good luck to find a penny | but more importantly it's a blessing to give it to God.

Message from the Stewardship Commission:

Parkway UCC's ministry is blessed and vibrant because folks are so generous with their time, treasure, and talents. It is the time of year when the Stewardship Commission begins to prepare for next year's budget, and we need your help. We hope everyone can make sure their pledges are up-to-date by the end of September. We can make better plans for the coming year when we have a clear picture of the current year.

Blessings,

Stewardship Commission:
