E-Group Open - Parent Support
|
ASA-NWPA has created an e-group where parents and individuals on the spectrum can chat with one another from the comfort of their own homes. Since we no longer provide the traditional support group we are giving you an opportunity to talk with one another in an e-group.
The e-group provides a place to share information and ask questions of one another. Members are here to support each other and provide suggestions to the questions that are posted. Every parent and person on the spectrum has so much to offer. This is a forum to help one another. If you have a question, a suggestion to someone else's question or just want to share a success or a struggle, this local on-line community is here to provide support. Please know that this is a closed group to families affected by autism in our area. Membership can be accessed by invitation only.
If you wish to participate in this group please email your name and email address to: autismsociety@nwpaasa.org. You will be sent an on-line invitation. This group is not exclusive to paid members of the Autism Society NWPA. Non-members in the area who are on the spectrum or have a family member affected by autism who wish to join the e-group should simple submit the information listed above with an explanation of their connection to the area and their reasons for wishing to join.
Once a member you can adjust your settings as you like. You can receive the e-mails individually or in digest format. You may also choose to view the posts only by logging onto the group's website. You may choose settings to view the group's activity in the format that works best for you.
As a community we are often each other's best resource. Look forward to seeing you on-line.
