Nissan today announced that the 2016 Maxima, the brand's flagship product and signature "4-Door Sports Car," will make its world debut at the
New York International Auto Show in April.
Today's Maxima announcement kicks off an expected record-breaking number of world and North American debuts at the 2015 NYIAS. Last year's Show featured 63 vehicle launches from the world's automakers.
The next-generation Maxima sports sedan made a cameo appearance at the end of its "With Dad" Super Bowl XLIX commercial on Sunday. Styling features include many of Nissan's new aerodynamic design elements, including the V-motion front end and unique "floating" roof, that first appeared on the 2015 Nissan Murano crossover vehicle, also a world debut at last year's New York International Auto Show.
The Auto Show runs from April 3 - 12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Press Preview days are April 1 & 2.
