Summer is slipping away and Fall is in the air. We're finishing up the last of the art camp projects and will notify those in the August sessions over the next week with a date for their art shows.

We so enjoyed seeing what great ideas our campers came up with. Be sure to check out the pictures of kids with their projects on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/colorclaycafe.

The face mugs were such a hit with both kids and parents, we've added them to the Fall lineup of workshops and home school days.

You'll see also workshops in canvas painting, glass fusing, silk screens on pottery and the Holy Family in clay.

We've added something new, by popular request: walk-in sessions for canvas painting. On Friday afternoons we'll offer basic tips on drawing and color blending for anyone with their own design to paint on canvas.

Mondays for Mosaics

Tuesdays & Thursdays for pre-cut glass projects Wednesdays for simple clay projects

The scatter platters above were made in a recent workshop where we show you how to cut glass and lay it out. The sessions are suited for age 12 and up, while children as young as age 6 can do the walk-in projects. Check the workshop schedule for upcoming sessions.

Home School Days this year will be on Fridays, between 11am and 4pm, finishing by 5pm. This Friday we'll start off with paper stencils on pottery. Choose a theme from ten different sets of designs and we'll show you how to blend colors for some really cool effects.

The old timey Christmas trees will be available by special order this season. We'll place orders soon for 13", 16" and 19" trees. Call us for pricing.

These take several weeks to arrive and we do not expect to order them after November 1.
