The Bhagavad Gita is a very poetic text, full of allegorical images, symbols and references to the feelings of the heart. There is a repetitive idea throughout its verses: Above everything that we can do or not do in yoga, there is the power of love. Love integrates, includes, heals, forgives, connects, transcends, transforms and sets free. It is unnecessary to explain it because, being it the essence of our nature, we all know certainly when we are aligned with its energy and when we are not. Krishna tells Arjuna that it is at the core of all things and that it is capable of enlightening the whole cosmos.

If you had to choose only one practice among all the ones that yoga teaches, choose love. It is this simple. Many times we complicate our inner path too much thinking that it has to be complex, painful or full of concepts and ideas that need to be mulled for hours, but Yoga means "union" and we can achieve that state of oneness when we love moment by moment.
