ENERGY STAR 2017: Time Running Out to Enroll to Version 12.
With the release of ENERGY STAR for New Homes Standard Version 17.0, the window for enrolling under the previous, Version 12, is closing.
Version 12 enrollments will no longer be accepted after August 31, 2017.
Builders enrolling before August 31 to Version 12 have a two-year build-out period. You will have until August 31, 2019, to compete the home.
An ENERGY STAR home is more efficient and reliable than one built to minimum code standards. Let Andy Oding of Building Knowledge teach you how to communicate this message, and how to translate the technical features into benefits homebuyers can understand.
