Kitah Hey (5th Grade) Class service is this Shabbat, November 15!
Parents are invited to come at 10:50 am to join together with their children as they lead us in our Shabbat morning service, followed by a festive Shabbat lunch with the congregation.
Kitah Vav (6th Grade) Community-wide "Count Me In" program is this Sunday, November 16.
Please drop your child off at B'nai Jeshurun for this exciting program at 9:00 a.m. There is also a special parents program at B'nai Jeshurun that morning.
Our formal Shabbat school program will not meet on November 15th for the 6th grade class, as we expect to see you on the 16th along with 6th grade students from across the community.

With 53 third and fourth grade students and over 100 parents, grandparents and siblings for Shabbat dinner, we had a great time with your children this Shabbat at our Third Annual Shabbat Sha-Bang! We celebrated Shabbat together, with festive meals and prayers led by your children, met new friends, learned together and worked together to accomplish challenging tasks. B'nai Mitzvah Program
All children who will become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah between January and December 2016- and their parents - are being asked to join us for the second session of a special Mitzvah Program on Sunday morning, December 7, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 noon at the synagogue.
At this session we will explore Gemilut Hasadim and we will choose Torah yad's which will be made on January 25 which the children can use at their own Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony.

ADOPT-A-FAMILY HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE
Each child's family in our adopted 3rd grade class has provided us with a "Holiday Wish List". This list includes one gift for each member of their family. If you would like to "Adopt-a-Family" and complete their wish list, contact Shani Kadis. All family gifts will need to be received by Monday, December 8.
WINTER CLOTHING COLLECTION
We will be collecting warm clothes during the month of November and December and will have a collection bin in Gross Atrium. Our 3rd grade class has asked for coats, sweatshirts, scarves, hats, and gloves. The sizes should range from Children 7-12 or Youth Medium and Large and should be new or gently used.
