Judaism From Page to Stage!
(for grades 2-6, led by Sheri Gross)

Tuesday afternoons, 5:15-5:45 --  All of our favorite Midrashim and stories from the Torah come to life through drama, games, parodies, dance, art and music.  There will also be time for Zamir choir to practice for leading our monthly Birthday Shabbat services.

We encourage all students participating in the Zamir Choir to stay until 6:00 for additional time preparing solo parts for our Friday night service.

Shalom Parents,

With Rosh Hashanah just a few weeks away, I am looking forward to an exciting year with you and your children.

School will begin with Bet Limmud on Tuesday, September 8th, and our first Shabbat will be September 12th. Please join us at our Back to School Shabbat lunch on September 12th at noon. Come see old friends, meet new people and enjoy Shabbat together as a community! Our high school (grades 7-10) will begin on Sunday, September 20th.

As we grow our Youth & Learning Center and all of our offerings, I value your input to make our school the best place it can be. Please consider joining our education committee, which helps strengthen our community and support our school. I want to thank the committee for all of their work in guiding our school and raising funds to ensure our success, and I look forward to your participation. Stay tuned for updates and new programs that you can take advantage of in the coming months, and I look forward to a wonderful year with you!

Project Save: From Homeless to Helping Others with Carl Cook, Founder

Carl's father was a federal judge. His mother was a doctor. Yet he became homeless due to an alcohol and drug addiction. His life changed forever in a homeless shelter; October 24, 2005 was the last day he used drugs or alcohol. Four months later, Project Save was born. Carl taught himself how to build a nonprofit organization through research and reading. Come to hear his compelling story.
