At Fish. Restaurant We'd Rather Go
Salmon-Less Than Eat Farmed And Here's Why

Crowding, Poop (That's right we said it), Disease, Toxins, Dye, Invaders, Killings, and Less Food.   Got your attention? The Bay Model Wants You!!!
Sat January 21
Wed February 15
 10am-11am

Back in the 1940s, John Reber would look out over the San Francisco Bay and visualize a massive civil works project of dams and locks to harvest fresh drinking water, and barriers that would support railway systems and a highway.    His intention was to improve the quality of life for Bay Area businesses and residential communities.  The Bay Model was constructed by the USACE to test the Reber Plan. What were the results? Find out more by joining Ranger Linda for a stroll around the bay.
We have a variety of volunteer positions that are suited for people just like you!
Greet visitors, lead tours, work with school groups, and more! Come and be a part of one of the largest working hydraulic models in existence. Join us for a brief orientation! Contact Park Ranger Joanne Jarvis 415.289.3027 or email joanne.jarvis@usace.army.mil
