First, you'll learn how to cut a circle, using one of Harmony's awesome circle cutting tools. Then, you'll select your own pattern and glass. You'll cut and fit the pieces for your pattern and use a high-tech adhesive to "glue" it to the bottom layer.

We'll use frit (crushed glass) to create the grout lines. Then we'll fire your project in our kiln to hold it all together, soften the edges and make the grout POP!

Your friends might not believe you when you proudly say, "I made it myself".

The best way to sell your artwork is to get noticed.  Instead of using the same decals that anyone can purchase, you'll learn how to create your own images.  These are techniques that will make your creations unique and make you stand out from the crowd.

Even though he teaches on pendant scale, that doesn't mean that you can't use these skills on all your fused glass artwork.

Barry is teaching his best-selling class, IMAGES ON GLASS on Thursday & Friday, September 11 & 12 and again on Monday & Tuesday, September 15 & 16.  This class includes an affordable screen printing process, information on painting, crackle and tapestry techniques, and adding gold accents.  You can read the details here.

These classes are open to people with no fusing experience.
Even if you have no fusing skills, this could be your first step on the path to creative expressions with warm glass.  Glass cutting skills are required.

The tuition is $360 for two days and includes lunch and all materials.
