BASSET Training Course Scheduled for Alton

The Illinois Licensed Beverage Association's annual convention is coming up in-mid September and this year it's in Madison County at the Best Western Premier Hotel & Conference Center in Alton.  As part of the convention activities, we will be hosting a BASSET training course.

If you are unaware, the  Culinary & Hospitality Modernization Act passed in the summer of 2015 mandated liquor training for employees at liquor licensed establishments with on-premises consumption who poured or served alcohol or who checked IDs .  The deadline for this training varied based on population size of the county worked in.  A map of deadline by county can be found here.  It has been required for Madison County for over a year now.

Whether you're something of a procrastinator or you have a few new hires that need to get their training done in their first 120 days, don't let this opportunity pass by.

Courses are free to employees of ILBA ( Illinois Licensed Beverage Association) member businesses.  For employees of non-member businesses, the cost is $25 per person.
