Tozier's Turkey Trek - Sunday, November 19
Sunday, November 19, 2017. Registration at 11am – Your quest starts at 12:00pm

Entry fee $4.00 a person or $2.00 a person with a toiletry donation for the Bucksport community Concerns pantry or Pet Supplies for the Bucksport Animal Shelter.

What are we racing for?
Like a traditional scavenger hunt, you’ll meet at the beginning, split into teams and compete against each other. There are 4 hidden Turkey Idols, all within 30 minutes of Bucksport. Teams receive a clue sheet at the start of the race. Each clue will lead you to an idol or other challenge. As teams complete each challenge, which may have them find cool things, solve riddles, take goofy photos and more, they’ll upload their pictures to the Tozier’s Turkey Trek event page on Facebook. If done correctly, each time your team will be entered in the drawing for a turkey fryer. The teams that retrieve the Idols, complete the Idol Picture Challenges and bring them back to the chamber will be awarded a frozen turkey Certificate (Thanks to Tozier’s Family Markets). Limit one TURKEY idol per team.
I want in! When and where do I need to be?
The race officially begins at 12 PM, November 19, 2017 so please arrive at the Bucksport Bay Area Chamber of Commerce office, 52 Main Street, Bucksport at 11 AM. There will be a check-in desk to pay your entry fee and receive your team bibs. Clues will be handed out to the team captains right before the race begins. You only have two hours to complete your quest! Teams will be disqualified if they have not returned to the chamber by 2:00pm.

Thankfully our local YMCA is also planning for these rainy & snowy days to come. The Bucksport Recreation YMCA is helping our community by offering Senior Fitness classes every Tuesday and Friday from 9am to 10am, at the Jewett School Gym FREE of charge for our community’s senior citizen population (people over 50 years old).

Private Home Care, Inc. spoke with Nick Tymoczko about their upcoming plans for the New Bucksport YMCA and he informed them that in addition to the free fitness class the YMCA was adding a FREE Indoor Walking Club that will meet every Wednesday at 5pm - 6pm right at the Jewett School Gym. The indoor walking club will be free to everyone in the community not just the senior citizens.

There are many exciting and new classes coming to the Bucksport YMCA. For a full list, please stop by the Jewett School or visit their website at recreation. After speaking with Mr. Tymoczko Private Home Care Inc., has decided to coordinate with the YMCA to offer a senior game event day!

Nick Tymoczko helped bring the YMCA to Bucksport, and in doing so has brought new life into our small town, Thank you Nick for all your hard work and determination!

  Peace Fellow Mammals
Local animal communicator, Naomi Graychase, was always "sensitive." And she loved animals, but it wasn't until a series of heart-breaking events occurred, that she discovered she had the ability to open her heart into the practice of animal communication.

She was trained by an expert animal communicator in Massachusetts, and for the last five years has been working professionally as a telepathic animal communicator based in Bucksport.

She works over the phone, so distance is no object. And she can even talk with animals who are no longer in their bodies. And while her business is called, "Peace, fellow mammals," she can talk to any beings, living or passed away, not just mammals!

Learn more or book an appointment at her website,  Peace, Fellow Mammals , or find her on  Facebook .
