BBC's award-wining documentary film maker Harriet Shawcross profiled WeSpeak - the first ever treatment program geared to tweens and teens with selective mutism. See below for air times and channels for the BBC in your area.
WeSpeak Selective Mutism Program
WeSpeak serves the special needs of children with selective mutism ages 10-14 . WeSpeak is the first ever SM program designed specifically for older children given their unique social and academic challenges.

Follow the riveting journey of four very special brave young people as they went through their WeSpeak experience and then returned home to extend their gains further.
Award-winning documentarian Harriett Shawcross spent a week with Dr. Shelley Avny, the WeSpeak developer, and these courageous kids and their parents as they worked to overcome the grip SM has had on their lives for years.
