Regional Deputy Grand Council Chief Edward Wawia and M'Chigeeng youth Hunter Corbiere were recently recognized with Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) 2020 Awards of Excellence. Forestry Closure, Firefighter Force Expanded Around Devil's Head Fire
The province has widened the closure of a forestry area around the Devil's Head wildfire and expanded the effort fighting it.
Recently, the area northwest of Calgary closed to the public was expanded, running from the east boundary of Banff National Park to Highway 40 and extends from the Ghost River north to Township 29.
