The BC Centre for Aquatic Health Sciences (BC CAHS) is a not-for-profit society and is the only aquatic research facility of its kind in the province. BC CAHS performs research in health issues affecting both wild and cultured marine species.

West Coast Wild Scallops harvests Pink and Spiny scallops found in the waters off of Vancouver Island BC. This 4th generation family run business began harvesting scallops in 2015 after also being involved in salmon, prawns, ling cod and halibut.
