ANNOUNCING THE BCPS ONE MANUAL!
The Office of Innovative Learning Projects has developed an online, searchable manual with videos, resource guides, and support information for all your BCPS One needs. The initial release of this manual brings together many of the current support resources into one user-friendly Web site. The manual is in constant development and will continuously be updated to reflect enhancements made to BCPS One. The BCPS One Manual is available as a link in the "More Resources" section of BCPS One. You can also access the manual by going directly to onemanual.bcps.org.

GRADEBOOK CLASS LIST
CLASS NICKNAMING
Teachers now have the ability to create custom display name, or "nicknames" for their courses listed within the gradebook portion of BCPS One. Please click here to review naming conventions, instructions, and screen shots for using this new functionality.

SECOND QUARTER GRADE REPORTING DEADLINES
All teachers and administrators should be reminded of the following deadlines for second quarter grade reporting:

January 12, 2015, principals received the grade posting procedures and timeline document in an e-mail. They should refer to those materials for more detailed information.

January 16, 2015 - The grading window opens for the second quarter.

January 23, 2015 - The second quarter ends. All assignments to be included in the second quarter grade must be dated between November 3, 2014, and January 23, 2015.

January 26, 2015, at 5 p.m. - Grades will be extracted from BCPS One to STARS.

January 27 through January 29, 2015, by 4 p.m. - All teachers must review and make corrections to the second quarter grades posted in STARS.
