Paid Internship Incentive Program:
One of the many services CSCLM offers employers is our "paid" internship program.  With students graduating in May and June from our various educational providers, many of these students have gained valuable knowledge and skills; however they lack the work place experience that many employers desire.  To support connecting graduates with employers, CSCLM offers a 12 week paid internship program that supports both the employers and the student intern.
CSCLM will pay for an intern to work for an employer in their field of study for up to 12 weeks, at 30 hours per week.  Wages are paid directly to the intern at 15% less than the starting wage of comparable position with the company, and CSCLM will cover the workers comp coverage for the intern during the program.

All an employer has to do is interview the intern that CSCLM refers, determine if it is a good match, and then work with the interns at their business helping the intern gain work placed experience in the industry.   At the end of the 12 weeks, CSCLM hopes that the employer will determine if the intern is a good fit, and possibly offer further employment; however it is not required. The intern will leave with valuable work experience that will help them find future employment.

If you are interested in learning more about CSCLM internship program, contact a business development representative at (352) 873-7955.

You could say that they all missed their yearly projections as the ones who missed in the earlier quarter of the year simply adjusted their annual projections downward at that point. The misses were not limited to any single market sector, with missed or lowered projections from companies including CVS, Game Stop, Lowes, Starbucks,... Read More »
