CareerSource partners with our local educational providers to provide paid internships to recent college and/or vocational graduates to begin their careers in their field of study.  The internship program is sponsored by CSCLM in an effort to promote recent graduates and help connect talent to employers looking for these new skills.

CSCLM pays the internship to work at your place of business for 12 weeks, at 30 hours per week, and covers all cost associated with the intern (payroll, taxes & worker's compensation), with no cost and/or expense to you.  All employers have to do is provide guidance and support to the intern to help them gain valuable workplace experience.

And, at the end of the 12 weeks - if you are pleased with the intern and wish to hire them, we may even be able to support you further with a possible On-the-Job training grant.  If you are interested in learning  how to take advantage of the paid internship, please contact a CareerSource business representative at (352) 873-7995.
