 -- Signing up at  SignUp Genius and partner with us to make this an awesome day

 -- helping to set up for the festival which will begin at 3pm on Friday, Oct. 23rd. We will be setting up all pop-ups, booth signage, tables and chairs. Parents who help set-up for the festival will receive free daycare for their children. Please email Paula Guzman to reserve daycare space for your child(ren).

-- speaking of pop-ups ... Parents please consider loaning your pop-ups. It is a good idea to label the pop-up with your name so that it can be returned to you.

                                              -- sponsoring a booth or making a contribution to the Silent Auction

-- Pumpkin Challenge: Don't forget to bring your pumpkin(s) in Friday, Oct. 23rd. Junior Highers will be available at morning drop-off to help your child carry the pumpkin to our tally area. The class with the most pumpkins receives a Sundae Party. Please take your pumpkin(s) home towards the end of the festival.

Friday, October 23 the PTF is challenging all families to donate pumpkins for use at the Fall Family Festival on Saturday, October 24!

Donated pumpkins will be counted on Friday and the class who brings in the most pumpkins will win a "Make-Your-Won Sundae" party, sponsored by the grateful pumpkin counters of the PTF! 

Please bring your pumpkin(s) this Friday, October 23rd. Junior Highers will be available to help carry pumpkins for the younger students. 

Then, as a thank you for your participation... and so that we wont have to make 1,000 pumpkin pies... please be sure to take a pumpkin home with you when the Festival is over on Saturday. 

November Lunch Menus are available

If you would like your student to receive lunch in November, please  download and complete November's order form . Return it, along with your payment, to the BCS office no later than Monday, October 26, 2015.
Parent-Teacher Conference Week

Contact your child's teacher to schedule a conference if you haven't already done so.

Thursday, October 29th is a minimum day, school is out at noon. Friday, October 30th, No School (Parent Conferences continue)

Extended Day RSVP Required

October 29, 2015, all BCS students will be dismissed at noon. If your student will require extended care, please use the appropriate RSVP link below:

Storybook Character Day

Preschool through 5th grade students are encouraged to come to school dressed as a character from a favorite book.  The "characters" will participate in a parade around the parking lot in this camera-worthy event you will not want to miss!

Please keep these important guidelines in mind as your child chooses/makes a costume:

--   Costumes should represent a character from a book; bring the book to share in class.
-- Please keep in mind the spiritual mission of the school and avoid characters that depict the occult or macabre.  If you have a question about a costume, please check with your student's teacher.
--  Please do not include any weapons or themes of violence.
-- Have fun creating your version of the character!

November & December deliveries

Our friends at iFruggie on Sierra Madre Blvd., will be delivering yummy fruit and veggie blended drinks on  Tuesday's during morning recess to those students who pre-order them. Delivery dates are NOVEMBER 3, 10, AND 17. DECEMBER dates are 1, 8, and 15

If you would like your student to be a part of the iFruggie delivery, please  download and complete November/December's order form. Return it, along with your payment, to the BCS office no later than Monday, November 2, 2015.
