BCTV's new website - coming next week!
Website screenshot
The new website features a comprehensive, searchable video library.
Our current website was "the bee's knee's," as they used to say, when we launched it in March 2009. Since then, we uploaded thousands of videos, which became difficult to find through the single portal player. Next week, when you tune into brattleboroTV.org, you'll be greeted by a carousel of recent videos, a TV schedule embedded in the site, navigation based on whether you want to "Watch BCTV" or "Use BCTV" to create or submit programming, and a complete video library. Finally, the site allows producers to log in and add their own description and tagging to videos so that viewers can find them more easily.

The website project was based on the development work done by Regional Educational Television Network (RETN), Burlington's educational access center. A mobile version will follow in the coming year.

The site will be new to us as well as to you, so there will be a "beta" period while we learn how to make it work for all of us. Please send your comments (and compliments) along!

Upcoming Board Meeting
The next BCTV Board meeting will be Wednesday, April 16 at 6 PM in the Brattleboro Municipal Center. Please call the office at 257-0888 for details. Board Meetings are open to the public. Find out more about the BCTV Board.
BCTV is community access television created by and for residents of Brattleboro, Guilford, Vernon, Putney, Dummerston, Newfane, Townshend and Jamaica, Vermont. Learn more at www.brattleboroTV.org or call 802-257-0888.
