Burke Development Inc.
Volume 4 Issue 4
April 2013
Greetings!

The Governor released a proposed budget last month that would cut funding for the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center. The Rural Center has been an important supporter of Burke County's economic development efforts. Since 2000 the organization has provided nearly $8.5 million in grants to our County. If you would like to contact your state legislator and ask them to continue to fully fund the NC Rural Center please click here to get involved in the discussion and show your support.
