BDI and WPCC will host an information session on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 5:30pm at the Foothills Higher Education Center Room 163. Information will be presented on various training programs including RENEW, Maintenance Technician, Certified Pesticide Applicator and Microsoft Office Specialist. Connecting Young Adults with Local Jobs

 

On November 20 several Burke County manufacturers toured Patton High School's Career and Technical Education classes then shared their thoughts and suggestions with school officials. Read more.

 

       

On November 22 East Burke High School's Apparel and Design classes toured two manufacturing companies to learn about available jobs in textiles and furniture.

BDI held our November Celebrate Burke Biz luncheon at SpartaCraft in Connelly Springs. The company, which produces specialty wood products, continues to grow and add new employees. We congratulate them on their success and are thankful for their continued commitment to Burke County!
