The BASH was FANTASTIC!
Thanks to an incredible outpouring of support, our BASH was one of our most successful events ever! The Polo Club was filled with love and excitement, among our sold out crowd of 500 people. With the help of all the sponsors, donors and attendees, we far exceeded our goal and raised over $400,000 for our programs! We could not be more grateful to everyone for making the event a smashing success!

What's next? We have some very exciting news to share with everyone. There are more foster children than ever that could benefit from the academic services that BFF provides, and thanks to continued support and the tremendous success of this year's event, we are expanding our offices! This will enable us to better serve our current students and increase our capacity to serve more students. Be on the lookout for more information about our Summer 2018 move!

Judge James Martz
What an honor it was to award The Honorable James Martz as our 2018 Champion of Children at the BASH. We are grateful to Judge Martz for supporting our program and for all he does to advocate for our children.
Ashwin & Mari Vasan
We were so thankful for our Honorary Chairs of the BASH, Ashwin and Mari Vasan. Their vision, fresh ideas and support have made a significant impact on our program and we are extremely grateful to have them on our team.

We were proud to recognize Shaheer Hosh, Owner and Founder of Cristino Fine Jewelry and the inspiration for this year's A Jewel of a BASH, for his continued dedication and support to our agency and our kids.
VOLUNTEER!
Want to volunteer with us? We have many opportunities to get involved at BFF.  There are a few committees we are looking to fill:
  • Battle of the Bartenders: Help us plan our August event, part of the Boca Chamber of Commerce's Festival Days. This is a fun event where community leaders act as bartenders, competing for the most tips to raise money and support for BFF. 
     
  • BASH 2019 event committee: It's early, but we want to get a jump start. Help us choose a theme, design the invitation, gather auction items, plan the decor...and so much more. 
     
  • Back to School event committee:  Help us plan our August back to school parties for our students, choosing a theme, planning the activities, and organizing the giveaways.

UPCOMING EVENTS...

  • The Great Give On April 24, 2018 we will participate in a 24-hour online community giving event designed to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits in a single day. Watch for more information coming soon!
  • May Graduations  We are thrilled that 100% of our high school  seniors will be graduating in May and 2 of our college students will be receiving their degrees. Watch for pictures  in the next newsletter!
  • BFF BASH Save the Date for next year's BFF BASH scheduled for April 27, 2019.
