The Deputy Director, Collections provides h igh level support and advice to the Director, Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, particularly in programme management, strategic planning and policy development.

 

This role leads the programmes for managing living and cultural collections, as well as education. This role also provides management to executive support for the Gardens and Herbarium, including governance and strategic communications across the Gardens, Herbarium and Departmental senior management.

 

The role deputises for the Director.

 

Essential Qualifications: Qualifications in Science, Horticulture and/or Business Management are desirable.
