Christmas Tree

Collection

Public Works will collect Christmas trees for composting from Monday, December 30, 2013 to January 10, 2014. Please remove all ornaments, decorations,and stands from trees and place trees at the curb by 7am on your recycling day. Do not put trees in plastic bags, and don't forget to recycle your holiday catalogs and wrapping paper as well.

Boston Public Schools Meeting

Please save the date for a Downtown Public Schools Night on Tuesday, January 14th at 7pm at 74 Joy Street. We will have a panel of Boston Public Schools parents who live downtown and represent several of the nearby public schools our children can attend.

This is an opportunity to meet BPS parents, and to learn and ask questions about public school options and about the application process. Read More

Beacon Hill has been magically transformed during the Holiday Season for the past 18 years due to the hard work and donations of

many Beacon Hill residents. We would like to recognize those neighbors who endured the frigid weather while balancing atop a wobbly ladder on an uneven brick sidewalk to decorate each of the 1,100 lamp post on the Beacon Hill this year. Read More
