 Annual Neighborhood Block Party
As the crisp air settles in, leaves begin to change, and children return to school, it can only mean one thing, it's time again for the Beacon Hill Civic Association's Neighborhood Block Party. The annual event welcomes back the community after a summer filled with adventure for a fun filled afternoon of hot dogs sizzling on the grill, dogs parading on a stage, bicycles decorated with streamers and stars, popcorn popping, used book and children's clothing sales, live music, crafts for kids, a visit from a fire truck , and lots more.  Now in its twelfth year, the Neighborhood Block Party will take place Sunday, September 22, from 12noon to 4pm in-front of The Firehouse, 127 Mt. Vernon street.
