The children and grandchildren of many clients have headed back to college for another school year and we felt it fitting to equip them with some financial acumen as they begin (or continue) their academic careers.

WHAT'S NEW AT BMc?
Susan Mitcheltree  chaired this fall's Financial Planning Association's Annual Conference in Baltimore addressing 1,800 financial planners and partners. She also moderated a panel discussion on Marketing and Practice Management Issues for Millennial Advisors. In addition, Drew Cook was tapped to lead a discussion on global investment realities.

Kim Silvestri  completed her first half marathon in Hershey, PA. Kim's accomplishment came after both battling Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and delivering her second child last year. She took on the half marathon and dubbed it the run from "cancer to half." She continues to inspire us all!
Berman McAleer  had a record turnout at our fall Client Speaker Series event Wednesday. It was a fun-filled night at the National Aquarium, where we heard from CEO John Racanelli and presented him with a $5,000 donation to the Aquarium's Urban Wetland Project.

Edmund Schwartz , a retired Captain of the Baltimore County Fire Department and 42-year volunteer with the Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company, was named President of the Hanover Fire Department Museum. Located in Hanover PA, the museum highlights the evolution of fire service and honors those who dedicated their lives to protecting the community.

Governor Larry Hogan's September cyber-tech trade mission to Israel featured  Dr. Ron Rosemeier  and his Baltimore County company Brimrose Corp., which is taking technology to places it has never been before.   CBS Baltimore's feature story on Ron.
