CAIR Seeks Probe of Possible Bias Motive for Fire at Houston Mosque

(HOUSTON, TX, 12/25/2015) – The Houston chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Houston) today called on local, state and federal law enforcement authorities to investigate a possible bias motive for a fire at a mosque in that city.

Firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at the mosque in southwest Houston Friday afternoon. Officials are checking surveillance video and say the cause of the fire is "suspicious."
