TOGETHER WE'VE DONE IT! It is my pleasure to announce that as a
result of YOUR support, Girls Rule! has been voted Classy
Award winner of the Chicago Area Philanthropic Small Business of
the Year Award! This historical or HERstorical
accomplishment marks the first time that an organization focused
on girls and young women has "Ruled" in this
category. This local achievement would not have been
possible without each and every one of you. We thank you!
NOW LET'S MAKE HERSTORY ON
THE
NATIONAL
LEVEL!
Our Chicago area accomplishment, means that Girls Rule! is one step
closer to receiving an award that will further our efforts
to ensure that ALL girls have access to critically needed programs
like Girls Rule!, The Etiquette Imperative, Me2Be, the Novel Destinations Literacy
program and the Great Destinations Adventure
Project. We will represent the city of Chicago in our category
during the National portion of the competition which began on
Saturday, October 23rd and will end on Friday, November 5th.
