Advisory: Due to National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning, Burlington Twp. Ord. 15:2
(Snow Emergency)
may go into effect.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning. For further storm warning information click here.

Due to this Winter Storm Warning, Burlington Township Ordinance 15:2 (Snow Emergency) may be in effect and continue for a period of 72 hours after the snow fall.

During this emergency, vehicles are to be removed from the roadway, and the Twp. Ordinance prohibiting front yard parking is suspended. This is in an effort to allow the Public Works Department to plow and remove snow from the roadways. Due to the storm's expected prolonged effect, streets will be plowed several times over the next 48 hours. Be prepared in case you shovel out your driveway, plows may return, and you may be plowed in again.

Additionally per Twp. Ordinance 520-13, snow/ice is to be removed from sidewalk, and from any fire hydrant located on property within 24 hours of the end of the snow fall.
