What a day for Golf!

A mind blowing day at the Vaughan Chamber's Annual Golf Tournament. Over 120 golfers joined us on the beautifully sunny day and enjoyed 18 holes of golf, a BBQ lunch, fantastic networking, and our banquet dinner with a special performance by Mentalist Bobby Motta!

The York Region Group of Chambers hosted active town hall discussions for business members regarding Bill 148, Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act.

We welcomed Karl Baldouf - Vice President of Government Relations and Policy at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, who  spoke on the Economic Impact Analysis on Bill 148 and potential implications for businesses.
  
Kyle Burgis - Lawyer at Minken Employment Lawyers,  addressed how businesses will be expected to comply with the new legislation from an employer perspective.
