As a new school year begins, the amazing impact of community members’ generosity is readily apparent in the many Centre County students who are getting a jump-start on their educations thanks to a scholarship or award generated by funds housed at Centre Foundation.

Our staff members have also witnessed the impact of endowment funds that provide annual support to a wide network of organizations in our community. Click to view these impact videos of Girl Scouts , Centre County Women's Resource Center , and Rhoneymeade Arboretum & Sculpture Garden .

Finally, we recently hosted the annual Giving Circle reception and were delighted to be in the room as nearly 100 engaged community members made an impactful investment in three, important organizations in our community.

Centre PACT 2017-2018: Student Recruitment

Centre Foundation is looking for Centre County high school students
who are interested in making an impact in their community! 

Fall recruitment is now open for
Centre PACT (Philanthropic Actions Created by Teens). 
due by Friday, September 15, 2017 . 
In the Community:
$255,000 in Scholarships Awarded to 138 Local Students!

This fall, 138 local students will embark on their post-secondary careers, thanks in part to community members who have established scholarship or award funds at Centre Foundation.
Giving Circle Members Distribute $15,000 in Grants!

After members’ votes were tallied, the $10,000 Giving Circle grant was awarded to Hearts for Homeless, which will use the money for its day shelter. Discovery Space and Bellefonte Art Museum each received a $2,500 grant.
Over $54,000 Available through Oct. 27!

The annual Field-of-Interest Grants open this month. Be sure to submit applications by the October 27th deadline !
