SCIENCE CLUB
Our visit to the  SciTech Lab at  Towson University was  very  informative and stimulating. The students conducted numerous experiments including a lab experiment studying the antimicrobial effects of natural products. Thank you Mrs. Loeb and teachers for organizing and chaperoning this amazing trip!
DISCOVERY
It's EMES: There's never a dull moment with Discovery. We're looking forward to  this week's special guest,
Rav Yissocher Frand, Shlit"a.
STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH)
STEM at full steam - We are looking forward to showing off our wares at  Innovation Day in Manhattan , where we will compete with other schools showing off our innovations.

Our groups are creatively named inspired by their innovations. Our groups include the Cradle Cranium Cohort who are working on sending an automatic text message to a phone when someone falls off a bike and hits their helmet, The Cane Group is creating a cane that adjusts its size based on the terrain, to help people go up and down hills, and The Blood Suckers are finding a way to transport blood from the blood bank to the operating room, and more.

It's been an exciting inaugural STEM year and we thank Bais Yaakov for providing us with this opportunity.
ELEVENTH AND TWELFTH GRADE JOB FAIR
The semi-annual job fair was attended by a large number of Eleventh and Twelfth Grade parents and students. Thank you to the many business owners, including numerous Bais Yaakov alumnae, who volunteered their time to enlighten us about their occupations including Business, Physician's Assistant, Teaching, Architecture, Shaitel Macher, and many more. The job fair gives our students a chance to learn about various professions and jobs as they start thinking about their future. Thank you to Mrs. Wolf and twelfth graders Ayala Gold and Chana Faiga Shnidman for the many hours spent in organizing this event.

LAG B'OMER FUN
We had a fantastic G.O. sponsored day of Lag B'Omer Field Day activities, including Human Bingo, relay races, basketball tournament, banner making and team cheers. The girls also participated in the  W4G (Walk for Gemach) walk-a-thon sponsored by Gemach to raise funds for  hachnosas kallah  for our own Baltimore based Simchas Esther organization. The student body also enjoyed a delicious barbecue lunch and refreshing ices from Rita's.
MRS. KINZER'S CLASS SHABBOS IN MONSEY, NY
What dedication! Each year Mrs. Kinzer gives up her own personal Shabbos with her family, as she takes her Eleventh Grade Chumash class to an inspiring Monsey Shabbos. Thank you Mrs. Kinzer for providing our students with this wonderful experience.
