FOURTH GRADE SHABBOS PROJECT
The Fourth Grade
Shabbos project began with a montage of color and exciting tales as the
Moros told the girls stories about the importance and
Shabbos. During the assembly, each student colored a
Shabbos scene that fit together into a mosaic of color that now adorns the entrance to the Fourth Grade hallway. Throughout the upcoming months we look forward to sharing many enjoyable
Shabbos experiences here as we explore this gift of
Shabbos in the Fourth Grade.
MORAH NELKIN'S CLASS PRODUCTION FOR ROSH CHODESH
Morah Nelkin's class prepared a lovely and exciting song and dance in honor of our Rosh Chodesh Kislev Assembly and our school wide theme of Koach Hadibbur! We are so proud of the girls in Morah Nelkin's class for this creative celebration of their enthusiasm for Mitzvos!
MRS. TAL'S VOICE CLASSES
This year's voice lessons and Fifth Grade choirs have kicked off to a fantastic start. Mrs. Tal, a professional voice teacher, maximizes her lessons with song and fun as each girl finds her voice.
Bais Yaakov Upper Elementary really enjoyed a "warm day" this month, as we celebrated the students who completed the
Avodas Kayitz. Each student who completed the summer packet was rewarded with a fun pen and an award! While we certainly want our Bais Yaakov students to enjoy their vacation and of course their learning, we are certainly proud of those who took time out of their summer fun to focus around reviewing their
TAG SESSION FOR FAMILIES AND STAFF
We want to thank all those parents and faculty members who joined us to listen and learn about the importance of technology safety during the November Sessions with
Technology Awareness Group (TAG). Mr. Steen and Rabbi Schwartz brought much awareness to us on the importance of protecting our devices in a manner that was extremely sensitive toward the individual needs of each person. We cannot stress enough the importance of working with TAG to help secure any device from the availability to access the internet without a filter.
Each time a student completes the entire
Sefer Tehillim we have the wonderful opportunity to celebrate her achievement as she becomes a
Malkas Tehillim. This is a wonderful opportunity for the girls in the Upper Elementary to maintain a meaningful connection with their beloved Lower Elementary
Limudei Kodesh Coordinator, Mrs. Rosen, who stimulates all our students to begin interacting with
Sefer Tehillim when the
Malkas Tehillim program begins in Second Grade.
