The Foreigner Opens Tonight
October 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 at BHS at 7:30 PM
in the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center

What does a shy Englishman in search of rest do when he visits a fishing lodge in Georgia?  In Larry Shue's hilarious farce, Charlie Baker, a proofreader by day, and boring husband by night, adopts the persona of a foreigner who doesn't understand English. When others begin to speak freely around him, he not only becomes privy to secrets both dangerous and frivolous, he also discovers an adventurous extrovert within himself.

Watch the Marching Band play at Homecoming

The Marching Band put on a fantastic halftime show  at the Homecoming Game Friday night! For those of you who missed the show, check out the video.  Thank you Mr. James and all members of the Marching Band for the many hours of hard work it took to create this show. Thank you also to all of the parents who helped make this event a success by chaperoning and checking uniforms in and out.

Men's Ensemble

The Men's Ensemble started off the evening's festivities with a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.  We are still in search of a video of this performance.  If you have a video, please forward to Choir rep Page Harader so we can get it uploaded to the BPA website.

Wanted: BPA Spirit Wear Merchandise Sellers
Support your favorite actor by hosting the Ballard Performing Arts Spirit Wear Table.  The Foreigner provides an opportunity for us to sell our New Merchandise!  Sell t-shirts, mugs, fleece and more to raise funds for our program.  Help Patti sell, shortly before, during intermission and after the play.  It's a great way to participate if you are already planning to come to the show.  6:50 PM until shortly after the curtain closes. Click here to sign up.

Wanted: Photographers and Videographers
Are as creative as your kids? Help us promote the BPA program and keep archive of all of the performances.  Keeping our visual records up to date has helped our band, choir and orchestra qualify for national opportunities. It's fun for families and far flung friends and relatives to see the performances and provides us with resources for publication and festival application. They also supply our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds. We are looking for volunteers for each of the three Ballard Performing Arts music groups.
Many hands make light work.  Click here to sign up.  Performances start soon - Choir Oct 26, Orchestra Nov 2 and Band Nov 3.
