A video of the performances will be available soon on the BPA Vimeo page.

Male Wind Ensemble Chaperones Needed:  We need two male chaperones for the Whistler festival in April 2018. If we do not meet District chaperone requirements, we may not be able to attend the festival. The cost is expected to be $450 per adult.

Washington Music Educators Association Conference (WMEAC): The Wind Ensemble is performing at the WMEAC in February 2018 and are raising funds to purchase a tuba for this performance. We were approximately halfway to our $8000 goal when we received an anonymous gift for $2500! The purpose of this donation was to encourage other BHS families to donate any amount - from $5 to another $2500 - to ensure we reach our goal! To donate, please contact Mr. James directly, or click on this link.

Band Fees:Families still have outstanding balances due for Band fees. Look for an email from Jen Witeck to see if you are one of them. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Pep Band: Basketball season starts soon, and it's time for Pep Band. Each student is required to perform at a certain number of games, which will be determined when the final schedule is announced. Pep Band members are required wear their black band t-shirts and jeans in order to perform. More details provided soon!

Whistler Payment: The 2nd Whistler payment of $200 is due next  Thursday, November 16th. Please pay via check made out to BPA or online.

Thank You:  Thank you to everyone who helped the Directors and students become concert ready, including our Concert Uniform Coordinators, Nancy Murphy and Patty Maier and Karolyn Vickers; Jill Hansen, the BPA Program Assistant; and the families who brought bake sale items.

Thank you to our Marching Band Uniform Coordinator, Allison Gabbert, and her team of volunteers. It's a tough job! Thank you to all of our chaperones and the families who took pictures and videos of our events as well as donated water. Your help is always appreciated.

If you have any questions about these items or would like to volunteer, please contact Jen Witeck.
